ORGANIC- AND VEGAN-CERTIFIED EYESHADOW

Eyeshadow is a makeup product that is applied with a brush or using your fingers.

You can use a compact powder for an even eyelid before applying eyeshadow or light powder.

Chocolate eyeshadow can be used to replace a Kohl pencil. Using a very narrow brush, apply the eyeshadow along the lower lashes.

The effect will be lighter and more natural. Take a look at our little tutorial. It will explain the traditional method for applying the four eyeshadows.

1. Apply color 1 (eggshell) across the entire lower eyelid to “set the stage” and present a backdrop for the other shadows.

2. Apply color 4 (chocolate) in the outer crease of the eyelid to structure and shape the eye.

3. Apply color 3 (nude) in the inner crease of the eyelid to heighten and further shape the eye while enhancing the color of the iris.

4. Apply color 2 (gold) in light touches to brighten the eyes with a renewed fresh look.

The remaining percentage of ingredient considered unnatural is explained by the presence of certain preservatives preventing the proliferation of bacteria. (BENZYL ALCOHOL, DEHYDROACETIC ACID) These preservatives are approved by Cosmécert as part of a certified organic product.

The remaining percentage of “non-natural” ingredients can be explained by the presence of certain preservatives which prevent bacterial growth (benzyl alcohol, dehydroacetic acid). These preservatives are approved by Cosmécert for organic-certified products.

What about the 1% non-natural ingredients?

Like all cosmetic products, our range of eyeshadows must contain preservatives that prevent bacterial growth. This protects our users from possible contamination when a produced is poorly protected.

Only five preservatives are authorized and approved for use in organic products because of their “nature-identical characteristics. That is, these preservatives are present in fruits or plants in quantities too small to be used hence the need to synthesize them. Benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid are included in these preservatives. The first is naturally present in certain fruits while the latter is naturally present in certain plants.
