Look into the mirror and tilt your head up slightly. Open your eye wide and gently pull your lid upwards. Place your lashes near the base in the eyelash curler, without touching the skin. Press the eyelash curler shut for ten to fifteen seconds until the lashes are properly curled.
Repeat the operation moving further away from the base of the lashes.
